The practical play: book Cannes-Mandelieu if your aircraft qualifies (light jets and most midsize) and you book early. Otherwise Nice — which never truly fills — with a car or helicopter onward. During festival week, helicopter transfers between Nice and Cannes run €300–€500 per person.
