Why the Masters Is Different
The tournament draws the tennis world — players, teams, sponsors, and the Riviera's own crowd — but not the global surge that floods Nice for the Grand Prix. Airport slots remain obtainable on normal notice, helicopter seats stay available, and pricing runs close to standard charter rates rather than event premiums.

Getting There
The Monte-Carlo Country Club sits just east of Monaco proper — technically in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France. From Nice Airport: helicopter to Monaco Heliport (7 minutes) then a 10-minute drive, or a direct car transfer of 35–45 minutes along the Moyenne Corniche. For the tennis specifically, the car is often the smarter transfer — the club is closer to the Italian border than to the heliport.

Standard charter rates apply — no event premium. London–Nice light jet €9,000–€16,000, midsize €16,000–€30,000. Paris €7,000–€12,000 light. Geneva €6,000–€10,000 — the best-value hop on the calendar. April also sits in the shoulder season: aircraft availability is strong and operators price competitively before the summer surge.
The tournament runs a full week — qualifying weekend through the Sunday final — which spreads arrivals and keeps availability flexible. The final weekend (semifinals Saturday, final Sunday) is the mini-peak within the week.
The Week That Works
The classic Masters itinerary: arrive Thursday or Friday for the quarterfinals and semifinals — the rounds where the draw narrows to the names that matter — stay through the Sunday final, depart Sunday evening or Monday. April on the Riviera is arguably the best month: warm enough for the terraces, before the summer crowds, with the season's restaurants reopening.
Pair it with the calendar: the Masters falls two to three weeks before the Cannes Film Festival and five to six before the Grand Prix — the opening note of Monaco's season, and the easiest one to fly.
