How much does the Nice to Monaco helicopter cost in 2026?

One thing the table hides: Blade acquired the commercial helicopter operations of Monacair, Héli Air Monaco and Héli Sécurité in 2022, so whichever brand you book, you are often on the same fleet and the same rotation. Shopping between them is less about price and more about which schedule and ground service fits your arrival.
Which operator should I choose?
Monacair runs the densest published schedule — departures every 30 minutes, from 8:00 out of Monaco and 8:15 out of Nice — with check-in counters in both Nice terminals and a driver on the Monaco side included in the fare. Luggage allowance is one cabin bag (60×45×25 cm, 21 kg) plus a personal item. It is the default for most transfers and the easiest to coordinate with a private jet arrival.
Blade sells the same €195 by-the-seat product but books through its own app and operates a dedicated desk at Terminal 2 — handy if your commercial flight lands there, since the airport tramway connects T1 in two minutes. Its strength is packaging: Grand Prix weekend seats with grandstand transfers and bundled by-the-seat slots.
Héli Air Monaco is the charter-side specialist. Its published private-flight menu prices specific airframes — an Airbus AS355N twin at €1,100 (5 pax), an EC135 at €1,300–€1,800 (6 pax) — and its seasonal Luxe Pack drops the shuttle to €150/seat and private flights to €600 during the Yacht Show window. If you want the whole helicopter, its per-aircraft pricing is the most transparent of the four.
Héli Sécurité is the only operator bundling ground pickup on the Nice side into the headline fare — from €190/seat including a chauffeur collecting you in Nice 30 minutes before the flight. It also publishes the widest destination menu from Monaco: Cannes from €1,100, Saint-Tropez from €2,200, Portofino from €3,350, Milan from €4,800.

Do the arithmetic. Six shuttle seats at €195 come to €1,170 — while a private H130 charter starts at €600–€700. From three or four passengers upward, a private charter is usually the same price or cheaper per person, and it solves the real problem: the helicopter departs on your schedule, not the timetable's.
Private charter is also the only option outside shuttle hours (the rotation roughly follows daylight and airport hours) and the only sane choice with luggage beyond one cabin bag — a privatised cabin can trade seats for cases.
How do prices change during the Grand Prix and Yacht Show?
Both operators publish tiered Grand Prix pricing that climbs as the race approaches. For the 2026 Grand Prix (June 4–7), Monacair's published seats ran from €350 to €650 per person depending on booking date and race day — Sunday, June 7 priced at the top of the ladder. Blade's tiers tracked the same curve. Private charters during race week typically start around €1,200 and climb past €2,500.
The Yacht Show works the opposite way: late September brings promotional fares — Monacair and Héli Air Monaco both advertised seats at €150 and charters from €600 for the 2026 show. If your dates are flexible, event weeks are not automatically more expensive — but availability is always the constraint. Book the helicopter when you book the jet.
What about luggage, timings and the return leg?
The shuttle allowance is one cabin bag plus a personal item — hard cases and oversized bags travel separately in the operators' luggage van and reach your hotel within a few hours. In Monaco you land at Fontvieille heliport (Avenue des Ligures); the included driver takes you anywhere in the Principality in minutes.
For the return, operators offer a direct-to-gate trick worth knowing: if you have only cabin luggage and your onward boarding pass, you can be dropped at the boarding area at Nice rather than going through the public terminal. Total door-to-door from a Monaco hotel to a Nice departure gate can be under 45 minutes.
The honest summary: the operators differ far less than their marketing suggests — same route, same fleet family, same €190–€195 seat. Where you actually win or lose is coordination.
